Lisa Day Dewey - Partner
Lisa Day Dewey is the daughter of Dell & Audrey Day. Lisa began working for Day’s Accounting while attending Margaretta High School. Lisa began attending Bowling Green State University in 1981 and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. Lisa became a partner in the family business in 1999 and prepares individual, corporate and partnership tax returns and manages the company’s records, payroll and computer systems. Lisa became an Enrolled Agent licensed to practice before Internal Revenue Service in 2007. Lisa is a member of NATP (National Association of Tax Preparers) and NAEA (National Association of Enrolled Agents).
Lisa married her high school sweetheart, Irvin Dewey Jr., in 1982 and they have three children. Irvin III, Patrick (Kelly) Dewey and Audrey Easterwood. Lisa also has four wonderful grandchildren, twins Chloe & Lexie Easterwood, Trenton Easterwood and Ethan Dewey. Lisa lives in Castalia and her hobbies include reading, camping and spending her time being “Grammy”.
Diane Day Kuns - Partner
Diane Day Kuns is the daughter of Dell & Audrey Day. Diane began working for Day’s Accounting prior to graduating from Margaretta High School in 1982 and specializes in tax representation. Diane prepares individual, corporate and partnership tax returns and is a managing partner at Day’s & Associates. Diane works closely with many legal firms in representing corporate accounts. Diane became an Enrolled Agent in 2015. Diane is a member of NATP (National Association of Tax Preparers), Farm Bureau, NAEA (National Association of Enrolled Agents),OSSEA (Ohio State Society of Enrolled Agents) and NFIB (National Federation of Independent Business).
Diane has three children; Sarah, Michele and Lee and seven wonderful grandchildren. Olivia, Kenadie, Lane, Delaney, Marin, Josie & Ryan. Diane enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and loves reading suspense novels, watching old movies and traveling.
Randy Day - Partner
Randy graduated from The Ohio State University in 1982 and has been involved with the family business since 1989, preparing taxes with a focus on individual, estates, gift and trust tax returns. In addition, Randy is a Financial Services Professional with Mass Mutual and he became an Enrolled Agent in 2015. He has been helping individuals, families and small business owners with their financial services needs since 1987. Randy is married to wife Teri with 2 children Emilie and Tommy. His hobbies include family, sports and raising and showing cattle. Randy is a member of NATP (National Association of Tax Preparers), NFIB (National Federation of Independent Business), Farm Bureau, and a proud member of The Ohio State Alumni Association.
Bob began work as a tax preparer with Day’s in 1981. He is a 1979 graduate of Margaretta High School and attended Bowling Green State University. Bob is a seasonal employee concentrating his time during tax season. Bob is also the Fiscal Officer/Payroll Administrator for the Department of Veterans Services/Ohio Veterans Home and has worked for the State since 1989.
Bob has been married to Kathy since 1983 and is the proud father of six children: Bobby (Melissa) Day; Tony (Dana) Day; Katrina (Heath) Hamilton; Kristi Day; Kari (Isaac) Bernard; and Kelsey (Arthur) Maines. Bob and Kathy also have nine grandchildren: Laurel, Laney, Griffin, Peyton, Kylee, Della, Graycie, Avah and Arthur III. Bob’s leisure time is spent with family and friends. He also enjoys golf, boating, and landscaping.
Irvin O Dewey III
Irvin Dewey III is the eldest son of Irvin & Lisa Dewey Jr. Irvin’s academic accomplishments include an Honors Diploma from Margaretta High School in 2002, a Bachelors of Science in Political Science and Criminal Justice from the University of Akron in 2006, and a Masters of Business and Public Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2012. In addition to education in 2012 Irvin became an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service. Irvin began working at the family business in 2010, where he prepares individual tax returns as well as bookkeeping. Irvin is a member of NATP (National Association of Tax Preparers) and NAEA (National Association of Enrolled Agents). In his free time Irvin enjoys traveling, going to plays and concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
Sarah M Saylor
Sarah has been employed with Day’s & Associates LTD since December 2007. While working for Day’s, she has been a bookkeeper and payroll clerk. Sarah graduated from Margaretta High School in 2003.
Sarah is the daughter of Diane Kuns, and the granddaughter of Dell & Audrey Day. She has four daughters, Olivia, Kenadie, Delaney and Josie, and resides in Castalia.
Mary is the daughter- in-law of Dell and Audrey’s oldest child. She is married to Joel with one special needs child, Mea Danielle. She has been with Day’s & Associates since 2007. She continues to grow with our company as one of our Accounting Clerks handling both monthly and quarterly accounts. She prepares 1099s for our company. Mary is also Day’s & Associates accounts payable and receivable clerk. She is a public Notary. Mary is a graduate of Margaretta High School and has an Associates Degree in Accounting from Bowling Green State University.
Teresa Homerick Mulgrew
Teresa joined Day's & Associates in 2015 as a Bookkeeper and Accounting Clerk. Teresa has over 18 year experience in the field of accounting having specialized in payroll and bookkeeping services. She is from Castalia Ohio, graduating from Margaretta High School. Teresa also has an Associates Degree in Applied Business from Hocking Technical College. Teresa is married to John Mulgrew and has two sons.
Audrey Sosa Day
Audrey is the matriarch of the Day Family. Although she is technically retired from the family business, she still has a strong presence in everything that happens at the business and fills in as needed to ensure the family’s continued success. Audrey spent 51 wonderful years married to the late Dell Day, and together they founded Day's Accounting. Dell & Audrey were blessed with 7 children, 25 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
In her free time Audrey continues to remain active in her faith and is a member of the Castalia United Congregational Church of Christ as well as their Phi Theta women’s sorority. Furthermore Audrey enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her large family.
